My husband was just reading about it, we’ll watch it today.

and hopefully he’ll then agree to watch Love on the Spectrum with me, some of the interactions they mention on the article sounded like they came out of the show.

it was a lovely programme. I loved the random nature of the questions and the performances (the girl with the red hair has a great voice). MS came across as a genuinely nice person.

@SpttyMaldoon I watched Love on the Spectrum with my teens yesterday afternoon and then the Assembly last night. Definitely some similar interactions.

The questioners and Michael Sheen were all excellent. Well worth watching.

It was amazing

This was the best thing on tv by a country mile.
I loved the start - no topic is off limits.
l loved the respect and support the audience gave each other and MS ( your doing well Michael)
The reciting of the poem was the most moving piece of poetry reading I have ever heard
The young people would vastly improve most chat shows or debating shows - which have become stilted and a showcase for our shallow society
The respect MS had Leo as he had a bout of stage fright could teach many people in our current society
Most importantly of all - the question of why so many ND people are rejected for jobs - was highlighted and should give us all food for thought

I found it uplifting and heartwarming - highly recommend to everyone to watch it
I think David Tennant should be the next guest!

What a lovely TV programme, I loved the way they asked the tough questions about the age gap with his partner and the singing at the end made me cry.

I would love to see Michael Sheen go back and interview them about their lives are like, I'm sure they would have some great answers!

Theendisntnigh · 10/04/2024 21:33

That was a lovely programme, I hope they make it a series. I will admit I cried at the young man reciting the Dylan Thomas poem and again when they started singing.

Simply the best thing I've watched in a very long time. Everyone in it was just wonderful. And I'm now in love with Michael Sheen

DavTen · 10/04/2024 21:34

Far more interesting to hear answers to the questions asked then a typical interview.

No argument from me. Outstanding.

Theendisntnigh · 10/04/2024 21:37

I loved the lady next to him asking random questions between the main questions. He was so patient with everyone.

This was my favourite TV of 2024 so far - genuine, moving and uplifting. I’d love to see more of this format. The assembly of ND interviewers were unique and surprising.
