Has anyone rewatched this recently? I watched it growing up in the 90s and have very fond memories of it! I'm rewatching now, some bits really haven't aged well unsurprisingly ha, it's so very of its time, the weirdest episode is the one where their son is critically ill and they're still attempting slapstick comedy 🙈😂

Loving all the 90s decor and clothing. I'm enjoying rewatching anyway, anyone else?!

Yes, I loved this and have rewatched it several times since it came on streaming services. I don’t think it’s aged too badly other than the odd topical joke.

Watching it now on iPlayer! Loved it and still fuming that it never had a dvd release.

@ChessieFL really you think? Just watched the one with the gay brother, and just generally the gender split, although that's just indicative of the era of course. I'm not criticising it by the way, I'm not one of those that bans Friends, but I do think 2pt4 is very much of its era. Perhaps not the same thing as "aging badly" though having said that!!

Another here who doesn’t think it aged, it still very funny. The latter series do get silly but the earlier ones are really good

Yeah as @LittleMissSleepyUK says the later series aren’t as good. Especially the last one with the foster child as a replacement for Jenny. I do like it for how the parents had their own lives and weren’t just parents with all the storylines revolving round the children.

I did like the spooky element to some of the storylines, the writer was a former writing partner to David Renwick (One Foot in the Grave) and you can see some similarities. Same actors used for some minor parts too.
