Anyone watched Mandy?

I love Diane Morgan however? Like Motherland, I think less is more. She’s still funny but nowhere near as good as the early ones.

I love her in everything else but this just irritates me.

Hahaha! I have just discovered it this morning and it is really making me laugh. She has stopped smoking, got addicted to mood swinging tablets taken that old man's dog for a walk and she thinks she has eaten him but it's just that bag of meat. It is really making me laugh and I love the music and the cameo's.

I started watching it, but she does a strange thing with her mouth all the time, as though she's chewing the inside of one side. I found it too irritating to watch any more

I started watching it but also can't stand that thing she does with her mouth. I really loved her in Motherland though.

Motherland is superb as she is balanced brilliantly by Anna Maxwell Martin and scripts are superb

I am a bit more mixed about Mandy but it still has its moments

I loved the first season. I'm half way through the 2nd now, which isn't as good, although it does have the odd brilliant moment.

Just watching 3rd season. The one with Nandy and the baby from Albania, very funny and a bit scary!

I love it. It is utterly bonkers. Diane Morgan said the mouth thing is based on someone she knows I think?

When I first started watching it I was not overly impressed but it’s a grower! I ended up binge watching all 3 series over a week and by the end of it I was howling. I got into the characters and started to ‘get’ it. I loved it!

I love Diane Morgan but I didn't care for Mandy that much tbf, it's just wasn't as funny or charming as Motherland/Cunk or Afterlife

Mandy is one of the best things ever done.

The mouth thing is quite common in very very long term smokers

I stopped because of the mouth thing as well, it was so distracting.

Yeh, I heard that. I wonder what the woman whose clothes it was would think if she knew that it had been bought as the wardrobe of a ridiculous comic character. Imagine watching the TV and realising "hey, that's just like the jumper I sold on eBay!"

And that walk she does ...does make me laugh.

I absolutely love Mandy. It is bonkers. The mouth thing and the walk are both essential to the character.

Me and DS were walking behind a chap the other day. I couldn't figure out why his walk was funny then I realised he walked like Mandy!

I thought it was so funny, I binged watched. Do find the Job Centre man quite attractive ( I will get my coat).

I had to stop, because the way she holds her mouth is extremely infuriating and I'm afraid I also get so distracted by her neck mole in every shot. 😟

I’ve only got one left☹️ I hope I’m imagining that she said it’s the last season and it’s just Motherland that’s finished.
