Do they make TV life this anymore?

I love a crime drama, a thriller and a 'whodunit', but really enjoy watching light hearted comedy/drama. Do they make this type of TV anymore?

Im just watching fat friends on Netflix for the first time and realised I havent watched much of this type of programme lately and I really should as its easy to watch and stress free.

If I like Fat Friends, Life, In the Club, at home with the Braithwaites, Cutting It etc, what else would I like? Preferably British.

Death in Paradise/Beyond Paradise? Best of both there - crime drama and comedy drama.
Marlow Murder Club and Mrs Sidhu Investigated (UKTV play) similar too.
I'm not massively in to period stuff but I love Father Brown (BBC)

No, but it's not entirely dissimilar (so many clones around). Marlow Murder Club is based on a series by Death in Paradise writer Robert Thorogoood.
