Just started watching - it’s fabulous.
If you love retro drama like me set in the 1950s/1960s, you’ll love this!

Aww, it looks beautiful, love Kristen Wigg and the wider cast but I couldn't get beyond the first 20 minutes. A show like this needs acerbic wit, IMO, to carry it and it has none.

Not for me - but wouldn't life be dull if we all liked the same stuff. 😁

I enjoyed the clothes and the performances, but once I worked out she wasn’t lying about her husband, I couldn’t see the point of it all.

It would have been much better if she was genuinely poor and a grifter. As it is, why not wait a few months until the inheritance arrives? Odd.

On paper ins right up my street but its really lacking something. I think its been done better before. The cating isnt great either. Im not going to watch the rest of it.

I'm on episode 2, I'm enjoying it for the 60s socialite vibe but I honestly don't rate the acting very much. It's actually based on a book, although I've read the synopsis of the book and it seems very different to the show. I think I prefer the sound of the book!

It’s not a non story. If she was a grifter it would’ve been a much better series. I think it’s a poor version of Desparate Housewives.
