But thought I would add a few more that I watch through still not understand the Up Next option.

Please do add others or links to existing threads.

Some of these sound like really good suggestions, thank you!
Palm Royale looks right up my street too (also Apple TV)

I also watched Killers of the Flower Moon as it seemed silly not to and from a poll(?) I set up on telly addicts it was highly recommended. https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/telly_addicts/5028621-should-i-watch-killers-of-the-flower-moon-currenlty-available-on-apple-tv

I thought it was totally the opposite of what it was lauded for being!

But if you have 3 hours and think de Niro mumbling is interesting give it a go! Beautifully filmed.

And based on shocking real life events.

Thanks to Constellation finishing one day after my free 3 months expired I have now paid for a month, so will have time to explore more shows. Which is just as well as I only learnt last week how to use the Apple web site to see all that is available.

Constellation is well worth watching (maybe more for sci fi fans) and it may be better being able to watch it as a whole, rather than week by week as I did.

Have watched Liaison which is a French UK political thriller.

Not the best ever but certainly up to the standard of 9pm offerings from main stream UK channels.

And as it is a year old ahead in terms of issues it covers, as some UK ones beening released now are now including them.

The romance part of it was a bit over the top ... but otherwise quite intriguing.

Vincent Cassel, Peter Mullan and Eva Green in the lead roles but also a bit part for Tchéky Karyo (Baptiste)

I’m also struggling to work out how to find recommendations, etc on Apple TV. I signed up a few weeks ago, not sure I will continue.

i loved Slow Horses and Killers of the flower moon.

couldnt get into Silo or Masters of the Air.

watched Five Days At Memorial yesterday which was a sobering watch based on Hurricane Katrina and the hospital where many died.

Severance is incredible!

Ellerby83 · 27/03/2024 19:55

Tehran is really good

PuzzlingRecluse · 27/03/2024 20:05

I also have no idea how to use it but absolutely love slow horses, & the last thing he told me. Currently enjoying palm royale.

It would be great if those recommending series / films could give some indication of what they are about.

Without naming which (!) because I appreciate the spirit in which they were mentioned, there have been a few that have seemed to have universal approval and I haven't been able to make it through the first episode.

But have found that Apple does seem to have quite a range of types of series which is good.

And regreting signing up to Disney for 3 months, even if it is only £1.99 but not exactly diverse .... Sad

The New Look, which started on 14th February.

This is from Time magazine.

Coco Chanel and Christian Dior were rival couture designers in the 1950s. But during WWII they found themselves in the same tragic situation: Both had family members imprisoned by the Nazis and were pulling every kind of string to get them back. That’s the premise of The New Look, out on Apple TV+ on Feb. 14, starring Juliette Binoche as Chanel and Ben Mendelsohn as Dior. Over 10 episodes, The New Look shows them fighting to save their loved ones and then fighting to save their own couture houses in the post-war period.
