Was that the first time Andy had hit Jo or has he done it before?

The actress who plays Jo was on Phil & Fern yesterday, the storyline will attempt to show that domestic violence can happen to anyone and the effects it can have ie Jo is strong feisty woman not mousey type but will lose her confidence think its her fault...
