Is anyone else watching? I’m on episode one and the main guy is such a dick! He’s arrogantly talking about leaving his brand new baby and girlfriend, then trying to hook up with as many women as possible. He’s such an arrogant knob. You’d have thought he’d have grown up in the intervening period.

I’m astonished how he doesn’t realise how he’s coming across… I also think their version of events is bullshit. Of course they had drugs, this ‘it was left in their car’ is complete rubbish!

I got half way through episode 2 and realised I wouldn't shed a tear if the UAE authorities had locked them up for life so I turned off.

I’ve managed to episode 3, and the way he thinks he’s all that, and some kind of magnificent story teller is driving me potty. I don’t know how the BBC got sucked into making it? It’s obvious he’s lying! I can’t watch anymore.

It’s making it more enjoyable watching it because I don’t feel bad for the guys 🤣 normally you get angry and feel sympathetic when a good people are wrongly accused but these guys seems ridiculous!!

Im on episode 5 now and have warmed to him- so do you think he was involved with the drugs?! My husband works in Dubai- the thought of even being high before you go is mad to me! Can’t believe they thought it was a party place to the extent they did !!

Watched episode 1 and the guy is an absolute moron. Not sure if I'll go back to the rest of the series.

Im halfway through episode 2. And I have googled to see if anyone is calling bullish!t on this version of events and pleased to see that you are (o: we were shocked when we heard Sunny got arrested and was being tortured in Dubai, he was a known dealer from my area, and everybody knew what Spice was. The rumour was that you can get away with smoking Spice in Dubai. The programme so far is laughable because I know they are 3 drug dealers who got caught buying Spice in Dubai, and they did drive to the desert to do the deal themselves. Any super sleuths want to fact check me, Sunny is from Ilford, everyone knew he dealt weed lol

I’m so glad to see these comments because it’s winding me up too watching it, I’m on episode 2. Sunny was a weed dealer from Ilford, they got caught buying spice in the desert. Sunny went to my school. And back then everyone knew what Spice was. It was a known thing that you can get away with smoking Spice in Dubai, probably why they went there in the first place

It kind of annoys me then that they lied and have gotten off, as it’s disrespecting the law of Dubai and the country they visited . If it was genuine then fair enough but everything about it seems dodgy- you wouldn’t go there high or even drunk , and how they were giving it the biggen about partying and hiring a car - just made me cringe!! Then the bbc do a tv show on them and their story, which in itself can be seen by the bbc as supporting their version of events takes the mick.

Yes there is much awareness about Spice now. This was in 2012 and Suneet was a known weed dealer in Ilford. They got caught buying Spice in the dessert, or didn’t realise they were being set up. It’s the facts, seems you want to believe the BBC programme. And of course these druggies found it appealing to go to a country where you can smoke Spice instead, I do feel bad that it got made illegal 1 week before they arrived. But again, it’s the truth of this, they were dealers and knew exactly what Spice was. The BBC programme is giving a completely false account mate.

Hi, story is so fabricated it’s unreal. I know Grant Cameron. He was a violent weed dealer from Aldersbrook in east London. I went to court with his brother for a night where he sexually assaulted my girlfriend and then assaulted my group with others (one friend had a metal plate put in his face as a result and still has headaches 10 years on). Grant, who got away with it used friends to attempt to intimidate me into not turning up to court as well as others. He is pure scum, absolutely did do it and the Ramadan pardon agreement is quite frankly a huge disrespect to a holy month. I’m sure it had nothing to do with them sigh

Watching the BBC surviving Dubai drugs bust. Very unlikeable group of characters, who’d left his girlfriend and new born baby to party in Dubai. Someone who openly talked about taking drugs and being high on arrival in Dubai! then completely unrelated gets caught up in a ‘sting’ operation???

very unbelievable story, clearly thinks he’s some clever ‘Mr Big’ but delusional and pathetic. Hopefully the BBC didn’t waste tax payers money paying for this story.

the type of person who always thinks he’s done nothing wrong, always unlucky and it’s all a big misunderstanding not fair or injustice but is it really????
