Thought it was funny that they all looked so knackered the next morning after what was basically a party especially Ben.

Was very concerned about the woman who the elder said wandered off drunk - did they find her? For a group with so much community spirit, there didn't seem any concern, but maybe a small group had gone off to look for her? I also wondered where the alcohol came from and whether it was brought by the crew as payment for allowing filming. They are definitely not a closed community with Western clothes, tins and cooking pots. I thought I saw someone vaping or smoking but it was so quick maybe I made a mistake. I was curious about these things and would have liked the programme to address them, especially as these communities are under pressure from outside and some people have left.

It was a fascinating programme.

I know they used the words wandered off but I assumed they knew where this person was off to. I guess because like you say there wasn't this worry.

It seemed a bit odd to me, almost put on for the TV. The way they were all sitting around that clearing and singing really loudly into the night. Like it wasn't really where they lived. Where was their drinking water and how were they surviving on just a few skinny fish. Something about the whole thing just didn't add up.

You're taking about ep1 I think that was on last week? Interesting that Simon Reeve just did something very similar, in DC though. I'm watching ep2 on TV now. Love the gorilla's. Seems like a sensitively made programme as far as I can tell and raises good points. Feel OK to show the dc.
