Anyone else watching? DT looks bloomin' gorgeous tonight!

I'm watching. I found the 'sketch' at the start excruciatingly unfunny and David Tennant a bit cringey. Just get on with it and let us see some awards, not lame attempts at 'humour'.

These award ceremonies are always cheesy..
It did however bring back memories of 'staged', which i loved!

I did laugh at Andy Serkis and ' Bark Raffalo '

Apart from Barbie and Saltburn I haven't seen many films this year ( none of them nominated anyway )
Some of the celebs look bored already !

Staged reminded me of lockdown ! What an odd time that was.

Wasnt impressed with Barbie, although the production was fab, Saltburn left a lasting impression!

I'm looking forward to seeing 'Poor things' at some point though

I've not seen it Staged. I just found the whole thing a bit self indulgent, and going by the facial expressions among the audience, many of them did too!

I'm watching-Lily Collins looks fab! I haven't watched many films either this year; Barbie and Saltburn.

I didn't mind Saltburn although the bath scene was gross!!
I did like Barbie tbh , although the feminist speech felt a bit of a ' bolt on' to try and justify having pink gorgeous Barbie as the main woman !

Not hugely impressed with DT but love seeing the range of films

Barbie was awful imo. Couldn't stand more than 20 mins.

Is it part of David Tennant's contract that his wife has to appear in some way, shape or form bore off love, he's the celeb, not you.

At least they seem to have dropped that silly 'chat show' format they had last year, with Alison Hammond having awkward chats with the nominees backstage.
