I remember this happening but didn’t know about the controversy around it - NASA chiefs and the US president putting NASAs reputation and the American space programme over safety and truth - who’d have thought it.

It was an interesting watch though.

There was a three parter on BBC too about Columbia - The Space Shuttle that Fell to Earth, really interesting.

Just watched both. Such sad stories! And in both cases people were ignored...

Seeing the videos of the people and knowing what became of them :(

When you visit NASA they admit that with a failure rate of 2 out of 5 the shuttle program was awful and that it continued to ensure the international space station was built.
