When will we see Emma again?
Will Al’s attackers ever be caught?
What happened to Al’s date that night?
Will Bear ever wear trousers that reach his ankles?

Instead of watching much of this I am reading a very informative thread in chat about ear wax. Considerably more interesting.

😂

Ridemeginger · 07/02/2024 14:08

Is she his sister or something?

Jojoanna · 07/02/2024 14:08

It's not Al's fault ,, this woman is annoying

Ridemeginger · 07/02/2024 14:09

Oh dear thrombosis

I said that earlier.

I said that earlier.

Just found the thread and haven’t read previous posts. Looks like you called it. This woman should be getting thrown out of the police sometime soon hopefully.

Goatymum · 07/02/2024 14:11

@Raahh - you were right!
why wouldn’t the patient actually say his leg was swollen and he’d been on a flight first off?

Sharpness19 · 07/02/2024 14:12

Al certainly did nothing wrong. He told whinging Joseph to go to A & E if he was that concerned.

Goatymum · 07/02/2024 14:12

He’s not even bloody dead - weirdest episode ever.

FuzzyPuffling · 07/02/2024 14:12

Load of loblocks.

Raahh · 07/02/2024 14:13

I wish they would just leave Al alone.

Exactly! Why go all around the houses . It was like he wanted to set him up!

MadisonAvenue · 07/02/2024 14:15

WTF was all of that?

OP posts:
Andthereyougo · 07/02/2024 14:15

FFS.
I reckon they had a Doctors story writing competition in a school and these daft episodes were the ones that got thrown out first.

NancyPickford · 07/02/2024 14:16

It would surely be easy enough to trace her, he's got the brother's name and address.

Raahh · 07/02/2024 14:18

MadisonAvenue · 07/02/2024 14:15

WTF was all of that?

it's like they've decided if it's being cancelled anywy, they might as well clear the back log of 'work experience' episodes they've been sitting on.

NancyPickford · 07/02/2024 14:20

The final episode will surely be one of them waking up to find the whole thing - all the intervening years - has been a dream. 'Oh well', they will say, rubbing their eyes, 'that was some weird dream!'

WTF was all of that?

Me too, no idea

itsnotmeitsu · 07/02/2024 14:43

Watching today's episode I assumed it had been inspired by the film 'An Inspector Calls' with Alistair Sim, which was based on the JB Priestley novel. If you've seen the film (which is brilliant), the episode would make sense. A bit mad for a Doctors episode though. Still what's new there 🤔

That's what came to my mind too.

I didn't watch to the end, just up to when the student when to Als house, so no idea how it ended. I wondered if she was pretending to be a detective, then after she went the real one came. I'll watch in a bit to see how it ended. The dodgy bit was why she didn't agree to him having a solicitor with him. No police person says no to that, even if they want to.

JL690 · 07/02/2024 18:58

I watched it this evening, definitely based on An Inspector Calls.

Raahh · 07/02/2024 19:14

My ds and dd1 both had to study AIC for GCSE (3 years apart) - I lost count over the years how many times I had to watch the BBC film of it. I can quote it. Grin

DD2 is only year 8- so I have a couple of years before I have to suffer go through it again. Unless they change the texts.

RulerofCatsjustkidding · 07/02/2024 20:13

Nearly too late! Just found this thread watched the drs for years I watch em instead of the news at breakfast

longtompot · 08/02/2024 12:46

I watched it all again last night. She was a bit silly threatening him at the end as he knows who her brother is and the police will no doubt be able to find out who she is for purposes of theft and impersonation of a police officer.

Raahh · 08/02/2024 13:47

Scarlett looking quite muted today.
