I loved 'Red Rock'- so well done. I was so annoyed by how they treated the end of it, a couple of episodes that was kind of buried on iplayer. I would have missed it, if I hadn't found out by accident.

I like 'Hope Street' which is on on Fridays now- but I have watched all of it, because I can't be bothered waiting weeks to watch it (it's good, but not that good).
I always liked the 'Indian Doctor' as well, and Privates (which was great, but only ever had one series).

It would be really good if I thought the Beeb were going to replace Doctors with something worth watching - but since this is clearly about cost cutting, it will be something cheap to make, or they will just extend the news.

Privates was excellent, I hope they don't do a sequal because how could it work? WPC56 was good too,or at least the first series. Lost it after that.

No, they probably couldn't do a sequel to Privates, it just felt unfinished. (and it was repeated a couple of summers ago, I hadn't realised how long ago it was on, actually).

I liked WPC56 too, but agree it started to lose it's way. There have been some good dramas over the years- and some good Aussie ones as well, I liked The Heights and 800 Words. 5 bedrooms was really good.

Now, they spread dramas out on Fridays only- since they never put Doctors back to 5 days (which annoys me) and the rest of the week is usually Sarah at the tip . It's such a waste of the time slot, imo.
