When will we see Emma again?
Will Al’s attackers ever be caught?
What happened to Al’s date that night?
Will Bear ever wear trousers that reach his ankles?

During one episode a woman said she could smell if a person had MS (I think), but during it she said to the receptionist that she didn't want to see Zara as "she smells". I wondered if it was supposed to lead up to her later being diagnosed. Was this ever addressed?

I don't think there was anything in that. She didn't 'smell' MS on Zara- she just claimed she didn't want to see her because her perfume made her ill (to have an excuse to see the Doctor her partner was booked in with ), iirc.

Good luck! This is the first week in ages I haven't had to take mine (he's on a warning- he's costing me a fortune!).

I feel your pain, both of you.
Our dog is diabetic so we have the expense of that but because of that he developed cataracts and lost his sight two years ago. He had surgery to remove the cataracts and his sight is back to normal now but he has to have check ups with a specialist eye vet and this week was check up week.
A four hour round trip for an appointment which lasted less than 15 minutes and cost £170.
He’s insured thankfully but it’s getting to the point where the monthly cost of insurance (£102!!) is on a level with what we claim back.

Madison oof- I am in denial about my insurance premium- it is already £££ a month but up for renewal in April, he is 9 now. I am dreading the letter, especially after everything he has had done this year.

It's a good job I love him, and we have no life, other than the dog Grin

Thank you for sharing your horror stories. Poor Zara is getting old and as well as arthritis has had an eye removed due to glaucoma. I have to say the health care though expensive has been very quick!

MadisonAvenue · 07/03/2024 21:09

Bill’s an old one too doctor, he was 12 last December (so we now have the added extra of paying 20% of every insurance claim we make despite the usual excess). Honestly thought we were going to lose him when he lost his sight, he sunk into a depression and was giving up so cataract surgery was a must.

Raahh same here, and he absolutely rules the house and I’m often heard saying that he’s my favourite child (he’s certainly the easiest).

doctorsnoddy · 11/03/2024 13:48
