He was awful. And since his character is such a wet fish generally , it really felt a bit forced and daft anyway. I didn't really buy him as the 'bad cop'. It was like him and Al had swapped roles.

Joel and Maria, are they both old friends of Luka that have come to stay by coincidence? So Emma is in Australia and these two complete strangers are staying in her house without Luka there. I have now got to the bit where Luka has come back, is this a new relationship I am so confused.

This investigation is a complete shambles. They should have procedures already in place for this sort of thing, not be scrambling around in such an unprofessional manner. I really feel for Nina, but she does need to stay completely out of it, massive conflict of interest.

@EffortlessDistraction as I understand it Luca is in charge of Emma’s B and B while she’s away. Maria is a guest but also an old friend of Luca’s. Joel is Lao a guest, but not previously known to either of the. He came for an interview with a water company and got the job, so he’s staying while he looks for a place of his own.

I have read back up through the thread now, you are all right about the kangaroo court, Suni should have had formal notice and the right to representation, they've probably jeopardised the entire case now. Not looking forward to more slimy Joel - I hope he's not going to break Luka's heart. As for Maria, well presumably hopefully she's not sticking around.
