I grew up watching friends (born in 86)
And I believe I am fairly liberal sexually. I have watched porn and don't have a problem with a partner watching it, but it is not a habit and I don't need it or use it regularly.
I'm wondering if friends subconsciously affected me growing up. There is also a lot of male gaze lesbian jokes ( no problem with Carol and Susan) more about how they would 'totally do each other' which I don't think you could get away with now. Like Katy Perrys I kissed a girl song.
I guess it was of it's time and helped make it mainstream?
Just wondering how an impressionable mind would absorb it all. I would have let my 12 year old watch it. Now I don't think I would.
