Netflix 'Greatest Night in Pop'

A wonderful programme that tells the story of the making and recording of "We are the World" in 1985. My favourite parts were shots of a nervous Bob Dylan in total awe of the vocal talent that surrounded him and having to have Stevie Wonder sing his lines in a Bob Dylan impersonation to show him how to do it.

Watching this at the moment it's really good!

Really enjoyed this. Seeing such big names get nervous. Tired & yawning their heads off! They are human after all! Bob Dylan looked so out of his depth.

Quincy having to tell them to 'groove with your knees' due to the foot noise being picked up.

Lionel recounted it so well.

Best part was the breaking into a chorus of Day-O Banana Boat song. Stevie Wonder's improv

I was interested to see why Stevie and Cyndi were labelled “troublemakers”. She was certainly belting it out!

And my goodness Bruce is aging like a fine wine!

I found Lionel interesting but oddly strange to watch. His face was weirdly inanimate.

Just watched this, thought it was so funny. Stevie Wonder suddenly deciding at the last possible minute that part of it should be sung in Swahili, Waylon Jennings walking out - it was like a pastiche. Loved it!

I watched this recently too.
I did enjoy it.
Sooooooooooo much work must have gone on in the background to physically get all those people into the same studio that night.
