Trigger Point, anyone watching?

Series 2 started last night.
Really enjoyed Episode 1.
Love Vicky McClure in anything!

I watched the first episode and it almost felt that they went over the top with all the incidents, personal story lines, patronising new boss.

Made me wonder whether they can keep up that pace, or whether it was so full on to get us interested.

Her ex was so annoying I was beginning to wish she would not be able to stop the booby trap bomb from going off.

But the drone at the end ... scary.

I think there is another thread for tv pace, where there may be more comments.

I finished watching this a while ago and just dont think it worked.

It was high on the techie bombing etc., but I thought the charachters and their interactions was not as good as series 1.

It was almost like making Vicky McClure's like one of those male leads in the film series where they rush round being super heroic and clever and we are meant to love it for the special effects.

Anyone else SICK of ads for this show? Every single ad break,every single day! does mcclure have shares in ITV or something? You see, OP wrote in January, it is now November and the ads are STILL on!
