And is there ANYONE in Ambridgewho isn't awful - apart from Saint Hayley, of course. Oh, and Saint Nigel. I thought Nigel was going bonkers for a while, shame they didn't develop that story line!

..and the Grundys become so wealthy from sselling cider and gnomes that they buy the Aldridge farm and employ Brian, Adam, Debbie et al. to do the manual labour.

Suggest that storyline to the scriptwriters, it would be great.

I quite like Kenton actually, he is deliberately awful and thus nowhere near as annoying as the rest of them. I also find Linda entertaining.

I can't stand the badKenton then suddenly and without explanation goodKenton. When did he stop being the irresponsible wastrel?

And even Linda seems to bhave been toned down. IS that to allow space for Jennifer to turn into a loon?

They are always doing that. They introduce a character to be a cartoon baddie, then decide to give them a personality transplant to make them normal. Witness Mrs Antrobus.

Roy has Reverse Directional Personality Transplant -- basically nice but with bolt-on rascism and peri-natal unreasonableness as the plot demands.

It's like those two upstanding pillars of the community, Eddie and Jazzer...

Ooo, I've missed a lot over the past couple of years but have caught up recently. I'd forgoteen about Kate - she hasn't been mentioned in the inheritance saga, has she? What happened to her?

Kate and Alice are getting a holiday cottage each (woo-hoo!), or something like that, in the inheritance, while Adam, Debbie and Roeoroarori get the farm.

Roy is being a complete twat at the moment. Rude to everyone, especially Brenda, fgs, she didn't cause the prem birth by bickering about the house. Get over it Roy! I know he's stressed over the baby's premature birth but so is Hayley and she's managing to be nice to people, Roy can't even be civil - rude about Jenny's pressie, shouted at Brenda when she dared to buy a pressie too. Tosser.

Am sooooooo happy they started doing podcast as I can listen to it now after 6 years without it (whispers...used to get the email synopsis though...)

Oh and Kate is living in S Africa with Lucas(?) and 2(?) more kids
