Anyone watched this? I really enjoyed it. Twisty plots and seriously good acting.

Nowhere near as good as Happy Valley even though made by the same people apparently. I found the lead actor unlikeable and dull. Some of it was frankly ridiculous

@TheAverageJoanne , yes it gets better but it's not "brilliant".

Watched the first episode, it suspended belief when an illegal DNA swab was taken from a corpse and sent off to an Ancestry genealogy site and the results were returned with a day or two. It came up with a match and a phone number.
if only it were that quick and that simple.

I enjoyed it, in the same way I enjoyed Fool Me once on Netflix, both were a bit ridiculous but quite enjoyable watching

Lol she was good in The Nest I find things I don’t find riveting I have on in back ground while I do chores - I feel like it’s one of those

It’s no Happy Valley! None of the main actors have charisma but it’s a background, entertaining watch as pp have said. I’m enjoying it but I won’t remember it on a few months!

Me and DH both thought the acting was terrible and the husband Pat is an horrible person

But reading the Mail there are often cases where you think OMG that's unbelievable

I’ve done a DNA test with Ancestry and that was exactly what I had to do, spit into a tube. Results took weeks to come back.

OMG just finished this - it was just dismal and I'm pretty laid back about what I watch. I can't really put my finger on it. Had to watch to the end but couldn't have cared less what happened to any of them.

I felt exactly the same 🤣 in fact I gave up half way through the last episode when all was revealed. So dull.

Yeah I wasn’t a fan of that one either. I also think I’m about the only person who found Fool Me Once laughable - I mean why on earth did she bother to go into a random KFC to put on a baseball cap “disguise”, to then go back to her daughters nursery….?! Did she just fancy a bargain bucket?! All very stupid.
