I have just watched the Big Show on iPlayer, as missed it last night. I am well and truly set up for the day, I don't think that I will stop smiling 😊
I have laughed so much 🤣
Dermot O'Leary and Tom Kerridge were such good sports, and Tony Hadley is an absolute legend!
Did anyone else enjoy it as much as me?

He just manages to be so funny without being inappropriate, smutty or unkind!
It's a real tonic, especially with all the crap going on in the world!

I enjoyed it but I'm not convinced that Tony Hadley didn't know anything about that upcoming performance and his apparent set up.

We all loved it!! Never watched before but 14yo has seen a clip earlier in the week and said we should give it a go. We laughed so much, I fast forwarded Jess Glynn though.

I love it. It's One of the few things teen DD, tween DS, DH and I can all enjoy together. Proper old school Saturday night TV like when I was a kid.

Tony Hadley was amazing. You have to be such a pro to just pull it out of the bag like that. I was in awe.

@Chardonnay73 I saw it! He was incredible, such an amazing voice, and such an inspirational young man! I think that Michael himself was moved by his performance, I am sure I heard a catch in his voice.

@Chardonnay73 Re Born Free Luckily I had tissues , from the moment of his first line I just thought how talented is this young man. Now I can't hold a tune in a bucket , but I thought he was fabulous.

I watched tonight's one, including the new item - Wheel on Wheels - and thought what luck he picked a nice family with several members, who had a tidy living room.

If he'd knocked on my door he would have got a messy house, a dog who would not have stopped barking, my DH who has terminal cancer and quite poorly, and me tired and stressed from our situation. The woman did look genuinely shocked when he rung the bell, but I do wonder how random it actually was.

I thought it was hilarious that a family in the audience invited their cousins to Joe Lycett's party in the restaurant across the road.

Have just caught up on last night's show. So funny as usual. The unexpected star was absolutely amazing, gave a stunning performance.

We loved Wheel on wheels. I don’t think it’s completely random in a way that he didn’t walk into the very first house with The wheel on. You usually can see the whole set up from the outside not only TV and then you can choose how suitable the house is. And I’m sure there was some talking and maybe a bit of preparation after she opened the door.
I was a bit disappointed with Send to all, I wanted it in a traditional format but audience members texting cousins was so hilarious 😆

I reckon after they knocked on the door there was a hasty tidy up and freshen up for the family

  • I think it would have worked better without the 2 "stars" and then maybe a 70" tv would have been doable as a bbc prize Grin
