Has anyone been watching Moving Wallpaper and Echo Beach?

I think it's absolutely fantastic. Moving Wallpaper has me in stitches and always makes me LOL. And as for Jason Donovan - phwoaaaar. Never went for him as a youngster but wouldn't say no to him now.

I'm watching it. Quite enjoy Moving Wallpaper, only really watching Echo Beach to see where the MW refs pop up.

I don't think I'd enjoy EB for its own sake.

NoBunny I agree. They certainly work well together.

Am really enjoying them, MW most. I think MW is back for a second series but am not sure about EB. The main problem with EB is that having watched MW, I can't take it seriously because I know what is behind half the plot developments. And let's face it, if you don't suspend your disbelief for soaps, you're in trouble.

I find MW really funny but i totally agree that EB is only worth it for the in jokes from MW. The actors on it are quite dire, even Martine who i had high hopes for. Plus, how old is she supposed to be? The fact she's so young to have children that old seems to have been totally glossed over!

I wonder what they're going to do next year, can't find out anywhere (i'm so sad!), there is talk of a shorther EB series but how would that work?

Yes I know Moosmummy, I don't understand why Martine is so bad - she was good in Eastenders way back when!
I can only assume she has been told to ham it up and it has backfired.
Whereas Jason's sweetly sincere performance works much better.

Moving wallpaper is FAB...one of the funniest Bristish comedies in ages. Echo beach only worth watching to catch the references. Are they supposed to be so wooden...is it all part of the gag?? Particularly the skinny girl that plays the main love interest (can't remember characters name, but Jason D's daughter). She is awful!!
