Traitors age suitability?

We missed the first series of The Traitors but I'm keen to start watching the second now that's it started. Wondering if it's suitable for our 11 year old to watch with us? It being on at 9 pm is making me wonder if it's unsuitable.....

I'd say it's suitable! A bit of swearing but otherwise fine.

If it's like the first series it'll be fine for an 11 year old. There's nothing like the level of sex/innuendo of, say, Love Island. It's just about a group of people doing tasks together, getting on, falling out and trying to suss out which of each other are the traitors. I think most 11 year olds would enjoy it.

I saw the first series and would have thought it would be fine, there's no sex, violence and little bad language 🤷‍♀️

My just turned 11 year old watched the last series and would declare it as one if not his favourite TV show and he is on the sensitive side so definitely not unsuitable.

My friend’s nine year old loves it and has watched the UK, US and AUS version. It’s definitely suitable, no sex, violence, (despite people being ‘murdered,’ very little swearing. And it’ll get their brain working!

Fab, thanks everyone. Don't mind mild swearing so looks like it's fine for us to watch together!

I've started watching it with my 11 yr old and he's really enjoying it. A few tiny bits of swearing but hardly anything at all. No innuendo or anything else unsuitable

My DD loves it and she is 10 nearly 11. She watched last years and has watched it on repeat a few times since lol

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 04/01/2024 19:34

And we've watched the US and Aus versions

My 9 year old DS is very excited to watch this season. He watched it accidentally last year when he was ill on the sofa and we thought it was asleep but he wasn’t and he was hooked. I don’t have a problem with the swearing as he knows he is not to repeat it and with no sex or violence I have no issues.

My guess is the 9pm timeslot is more to do with it being prime time telly, and not much to do with content!

Nothing to worry about, IMO.
