Brilliantly packed cast for the first Viagra trails!

I'm just going to get my pj's on to snuggle up on the sofa to watch it. I agree with the brilliant cast and really looking forward to it.

Watching... mainly because i love Aneurin Barnard

We really enjoyed it. Was funny to see a cast with so many Welsh speakers not speaking Welsh. Colin, Meurig and Eddie have all been in S4C programmes and Aneurin Barnard is a Welsh speaker. I was hoping they would have done a Welsh language version like with Un Bore Mercher/Keeping Faith.

It was also strange seeing Iwan Rheon playing someone so different from Ramsay Bolton!

I enjoyed that little drama. Was touching and funny and well acted.
Even if Dh thought the doctor was Orlando Bloom!

Really enjoyed that. Superbly acted, and an interesting not too mushy tale.

It made a change to hi light men as these kind of cons

., these type of conditions are rarely spoken about , let alone a drama made about it!
I loved the song and dance routine mid way! Made me smile

I'm hesitant to watch this, despite it looking well made with a great cast. I wonder if the potential negative impact on women is covered. Taking Viagra regularly can make a man very sex-focussed and women are expected to be delighted and cooperative. I found it a nightmare and a total turn off

Davros, I don't want to spoil it, but it isn't all completely positive and at least one couple is struggling. Won't say too much in case you decide to watch it again, but I felt it did address that issue that not everyone is mad keen on sex all the time and also the trial didn't work for everyone

I thought it was excellent, and very nice to see the relationships between the men and how supportive they were of each other

How frustrating must it have been to participated in the trial, had positive outcomes and then had to wait 4/5 years for the drug to be licenced!

No wonder so many men refused to return their left over pills at the end of the trial!

This is so good, funny amd moving. All the characters are so likeable.

Absolutely awful for Tommy but why didn't he just carry on lying and say he was married. As he'd said he'd lived a lie his whole life so why stop when something was having such a positive effect. Just awful the discrimination and this was in the 90s not even the 50s/60s when homosexulity was illegal.

yes, and really due to an oversight on the part of the Dr designing the study
He just hadn't thought of including gay men, it seemed.
Although I did wonder, when he bumped into Tommy and partner in the restaurant, whether it would be an interesting plot twist that he too was gay.
