she hands over the money to the hitman
Thanks. I totally missed that. I suppose I could watch it again as it is online.
I liked the style, but found some of the dialogue a bit oblique, ie it was obviously inferring things, but I didn't get the references.
And I found Lady Gaga convincing. In fact more some than some of male A listers who seem to be relying of stereotypes.

But apart from missing the vital clue, the film wasn't nearly as obscure as the one about Steve Jobs, which seemed to be endess scence of him being a complete shit, and everything he launched failed. Whereas he is supposedly the hugely sucessful founder of Apple.
The best part of the film is not realising that it was Kate Winslet playing the main female character. That's the second time I've watched her in a film, and not realised who she was, as she had disappeared into her character.

I dont / cant get to the cinema, so get quite excited when big films get shown on tv. But more often then not find out I was quite glad not to have got caught up in must get to see this new film within a week of getting released. Would be so disappointed. Like that latest Kenneth Branagh Poiret. Hopeless.
