Only 10 years late but no spoilers please: is The Affair worth sticking with?

Am 2 episodes in.

Usually love anything about relationships including non traditional relationships, non-monogamy and also infidelity but am finding this a bit of a drag with the dual perspectives and the fact that no-one in it seems to be very likeable or even remotely relatable.

Plus the two brit leads with questionable american accents.

Imdb score is 7.9 which is making me question my first impression.

I rarely get into TV series but got completely hooked on The Affair, particularly as the theme song made me feel that something dark was just under the surface.

But it wasn't really and, although very well acted, it didn't amount to a lot. The actor pay dispute in the final series ultimately derailed it.

Fabulous for the first 3 series but after that it really lost the plot for me. They should have concluded it after 3 series. Infact I gave up in the end

Joshua Jackson being handsome was the best thing about it. (Sorry for objectifying you Joshua) 😍

Otherwise, I gave up after my adopted "three episodes rule".
