'A Question Of Sport' axed!

Is anyone shocked? I'm not. It's been crap since they put the new line up in and got rid of Sue Barker in 2021. I don't know a soul who has watched it since the new line up. (Even avid sports fans!)

The viewing figures dropped to less than a million from over 5 million - in just 2 years. They are claiming 'funding problems' is the main reason for it being axed. LOL. Yeah sure!

Shame eh? I think the old adage 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' applies here!

God I remember that tedious dross from my childhood. Had no idea it was still going. Awful, typical BBC show. Good riddance.

I do know quite a few people who liked it though @EveryKneeShallBow It wasn't my cup of tea as I am not a massive fan of watching anything sport related. (Big tournaments when England is in it, but that's it.)

I mean, I don't mind playing a few sports, but I have no interest in watching this show. Many people liked it though. Until they replaced the presenters. As I say, the amount of viewers dropped to less than a million from 5 million. Shocking.

I don't know whose idea it was to replace the presenters, but they have killed the show.

I agree, a very dull programme. Not exactly first choice programming. Same as the Richard Dimbleby lecture? Who actually watches them??

I watch/ed both!

There's a huge amount of TV I don't watch, but I like those.
