I’ve been trying to remember the name of a tv series I watched a few months ago. It’s a British drama and about a son and his girlfriend who return to his home town on their way to make a documentary somewhere else.
The home town was the site of murders a local man was convicted of (I think) and he was accused of keeping people/couples in a room where he tortured them.
It turns out that the son’s recently widowed mum had a load of vhs tapes she said belonged to his father that detailed them torturing and murdering the couples above. The girlfriend finds out and the mother tries to bump her off.
I know I’m going to kick myself when I find out what it bloody is but currently my recent search history looks disturbingly suss and I need help!!!!!
