The Doll Factory C5 started 5th December

So I saw this is a new period drama about a doll painter who dreams of becoming an artist and her life is transformed when she meets a taxidermist who wants to be revered and a painter who’s searching for his next muse, then a love triangle springs up between the 3 of them.

Saoirse-Monica Jackson is one of the stars not sure if I’ve heard of the others and I saw S-M being interviewed about this on BBC Breakfast. The only slight thing putting me off is C5 and then signing up for their catch up service. I only really see historical programmes on C5 too, not much drama so don’t know how they do this either. Anyone seen it? Any good?

Watching with interest. I really enjoyed the book.

I was going to watch this but luckily (I'vve been caught out before) C5 is only showing episode 1. If you want to watch it in full it is on Paramount Plus (and Apple+?)

Ah, curses, don’t think I’ve got either of those but the other half does at his house. Will see if he wants to watch it there. I thought C5 didn’t have catch up!

Wonder if it’s as good as the book .
