I worked last night so brain a little fuzzy and trying to grasp the explanation of the game of half stars

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/12/2023 08:25

Ha ha ha. They fall in
Classic

Fred leaving early was a bit like Boy George leaving early last year.
The public prefer the one dimensional camp mates .
Anyone vaguely opionated or that doesn't stick to the script is tossed aside.

Agree! 👏

Fred was keen to do trials to get stars/food, he said it was agreed beforehand but we didn’t see that …I think he was badly edited last few days.

The cooking palaver he just wanted camp to get a decent meal.

I liked him he brought a bit of zing! It’s quite dull with those remaining…Nick & Marvin nice but dull!

Josie’s cry cry was uncalled for and bitchy.

Hope it’s Josie or Danielle out tonight.

ITV wanted Nigel Farage in for the drama and fireworks and thought he’d be first out.
It hasn’t worked out that way.

They picked the wrong person for drama and fireworks. He is known for being a politician with views that a lot of people don't agree with, but that's it.

He will put his point across in debates, but he will give the other side time to speak and answer. He is generally polite and, from what I have heard, is ok to get along with as a co-worker. He is not confrontational as far as I know.

And that is what we have seen. There has been mention of his politics - but not from him, I am fairly sure he responded when asked, but didn't bring it up. He got on with the tasks he was given. Other people - the media - whip up a drama out of what he says, he himself is not particularly dramatic.

ilovebrie8 · 06/12/2023 09:17

Yep Nigel has come across as level headed …

How about Fred when he kept saying Sam could stay in camp and play with his toys? Bitchy? Or vaguely opinionated?

AzureBlue99 · 06/12/2023 10:02

I think there was more to the Nella and Fred incident that met the eye. He is an arrogant tosser and talked doesn't to people. But only those he thought were beneath him - women, Sam. His comment to Sam about staying back in camp to play with his toys was unpleasant. Sam looks genuinely confused when someone shows attitude to him. He is annoying but soft hearted.

ilovebrie8 · 06/12/2023 10:03

Am not arguing with you @AngryBird6122

Everyone has their own views...

Josie & Danielle have been snidey and bitchy for several days talking behind Fred's back....not pleasant. It has been ongoing...everyone can see it.

ilovebrie8 · 06/12/2023 10:04

Everyone likes different people it is as simple as that....Fred got stuck in and did the trails...those two try to avoid them....

He ain't perfect no one is...

ilovebrie8 · 06/12/2023 10:10

@AngryBird6122 the difference is Fred said it direct to Sam, those two are constantly making snide comments behind Fed's back they don't have the gumption to come out and say it to him or have it out with him but bitch behind his back...that cry, cry thing was childish like school ground stuff.

Not done them any favours...

Tattle can't stand either of them....and we now Tattle is always spot on 😉😂

EachandEveryone · 06/12/2023 10:18

I think Nigel will get to the end. I also think that politically not all the celebrities will have Freds point of view they've just kept quiet about it.

Frozenhobby · 06/12/2023 10:29

itsgettingweird · 06/12/2023 06:36

He did though. He said her sausage and chips was really good

Yes but that was after bringing her down and interfering during the cooking process.

theconfidenceofwho · 06/12/2023 10:51

I agree @Inkanta

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 06/12/2023 10:57

I hope Josie or Danielle go tonight.

We all know everyone bitches and everyone moans but mon now.

The difference for me is the bitching and snidey comments behind folks’ backs and for that, they’ve gone way down in my estimation. Nella was the same.

In that environment (and everywhere else) you speak your piece to the person it concerns or you keep it to yourself.

Fred would have nipped ma puddens but a calm short word would have probably stopped the hovering. And would I ask for advice rather than glorying on with sloppy bean fritters? Yes.

The snide grips ma puddans fat more.

HappyHamsters · 06/12/2023 11:00

I thought Josie crybaby impersonation was pathetic and bitchy, josie and Danielle out I hope, they still get paid and dont do much now they are leaders.

ilovebrie8 · 06/12/2023 11:02

@SheldonesqueTheBstard agree! spot on...the have constantly been making snidey comments behind his back...get's my goat.

AngryBird6122 · 06/12/2023 11:04

Have I missed something? Cause Fred was also bitching about josie to Danielle behind her back and made that snide comment to Nigel about it being a disaster

but I get it. As long as Fred is a complete tossed to Sam/josie whoever’s face then that’s alright

HappyHamsters · 06/12/2023 11:04

Nigel may be exempt from cyclone so would he be able to make the final anyway

Jimmyneutronsforehead · 06/12/2023 11:07

HappyHamsters · 06/12/2023 11:00

Yeah I agree.

I really liked Josie. She was in my top 3 to win, but she's really stooped down to Danielle's level and I thought she was more mature than that.

It's a shame really because I'd love for one of the women to win.

Tony is still number one for me, at least right now.

Nick I think is playing it safe, but he's a bit uneventful really.

And I don't think Sam deserves to win, but I also don't think he doesn't deserve to win. He's positive, but he's just so unaware of his own presence. It's exactly why itv will have put him in, but I can feel so much empathy for the others when they pull their faces when he's in their space that it feels painful.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 06/12/2023 11:10

I think it a shame that these vibrant, confident women have shown themselves in a negative light by resorting to the snide brie.

They all have powerful opinions and would have made me respect them if they would have taken folk aside to express their opinion/tell folk to wind their necks in. And perhaps have a conversation to explain why.

My name is not for nowt and I can be a horror but bitching solves nothing.

Chocrock · 06/12/2023 11:11

I'm so glad Fred is out, my family wanted him to stay as he created drama and made good tv but he is so full of himself I think he needs to know how unpopular he is.

Either Danielle/Nigel/Josie to go next for me...

NowNumber5 · 06/12/2023 11:16

@JaneJeffer

I thought it was a really good episode last night too, kind of what I expected to see more of, instead of all the snideyness and cooking drama.
Loved the secret challenges, and the fly on the wall trial, although I couldn’t quite understand what they were supposed to do.

I know a lot of people are finding Sam too much, but to me, his (over) enthusiasm for everything is what being on the show is about. He seems to be really embracing the jungle life, and is having harmless fun, at nobody’s expense.
I thought their “film” was hilarious 😂
I am a people watcher by character, and if I were in that environment, I would much rather be accompanied by people like Sam, than the likes of all the drama llamas.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 06/12/2023 11:18

I’m all for Tony to win too jimmyneutron

Or Nick. I wouldn’t be crying into my kebab if Nigel won either.

But not Sam. My space is my space.

HappyHamsters · 06/12/2023 11:18

Fred said it had already been agreed who would do the trial so to only show the bad deliberately misleading conversation was unfair

Egm19 · 06/12/2023 11:36

Saw this about Tony

‘The thing is, I don’t think you will be able to find any cheating stories regarding Tony online. Yes he has a profile yes he is a boxer but I don’t think it will be all over the tabloids in the same way as a footballer would be.
it’s very much known and common knowledge locally that he has cheated. He’s definitely got a type And has been doing it for years but put all that to one side. He is a lovely lad and does a lot for charity’
