Rather late to Shetland but…

Im watching this for the first time, just finished series 4 episode 6 and my god, what a brutal ending. Didn’t see that coming.
And what an actor Stephen Walters was in it, he’s fabulous. All that spit in the beard was gross, but really felt that he inhabited Malone.

I’ve just watched it all too, never knew of its existence until a couple of weeks ago! Haven’t watched this latest series though, not sure if I’m going to enjoy the new dynamics. Loved it all, Like a Scottish Midsomer Murders - jimmys knitwear collection is great 😂
Shetland looks so beautiful, dh always went on about visiting and I’d never considered it but it looks gorgeous.

Disagree about the 'Scottish Midsomer' @TheChosenTwo! Midsomer is like a cosy cardi and tea. Shetland is much more bleak.

A lot more blood and gore in Shetland.

I have just finished the latest series and there's no more Jimmy. Douglas Henshaw has decided warmer climes are more his thing, I think - he's been in a Netflix drama set in Barcelona, which I can't think would be more prestigious.
Do these things pay more or is it simply a case of fancying some nice weather?

Well yeah I didn’t mean a direct comparison, more just another fairly small area with a surprising amount of murders per square mile! I far prefer Shetland to MM but wouldn’t want to live in either - you can’t trust your neighbours 😂

We literally watched that episode last night, also being late to the party and wanting to catch up. Thanks for the spoiler to a previous poster when it's clear the OP hasnt seen all of it yet 🙄
