We’re rewatching this at the moment and it is SO good! I’d completely forgotten a lot of it and have changed my allegiance from being all Bill to Eric 😍

Any other Fang Bangers here?

I was always all for Eric. Apart from when he went good, that was rubbish.

Really though it never quite lived up to the title sequence , which was just the BEST short piece of TV ever.

I have a different favourite character each episode - Pam, Jason, Hoyt ( oh, Hoyt 😍), Eric. Never Sookie!

Opening credits are the best of any series.

I loved the music from the title sequence @HumphreyCobblers it was perfect for the collage of images and perfect for the series.

I'm another Eric convert. Bill does have a great way of saying "Soookie" though.

So many great characters. Lafayette is my favourite.

Struggling to find time to rewatch it as I have older tweens/teens and it is not something I'd want them wandering in on!

It’s not as gory as I remember it being but I guess I’ve been desensitised by all the violent series since. It was the first of its type I think. Can you believe the first series was 15 years ago!

I adored the first couple of seasons. I even read the books and bought the Jace Everett album. I gave up after Season 6 though, I just watched clips on YouTube to figure out how it ended.

2008 makes sense really. I had small kids and the highlights of my week were True Blood and Nashville. That was back in the very olden days when I used to get the TV guide with the Sunday newspaper.

I got so sad rewatching it after the death of the actor playing Lafayette. Still find that sad, but he was amazing and my favourite character. The later seasons were a bit rubbish though.

Another team Bill who's turned team Eric.
Also gone from team Sookie to team Tara.
I used to be a hopeless romantic, a condition I have entirely covered from.

I would love a friend like Lafayette. He's awesome. And Pam as well.

I'm going to have to rewatch again arent now. Might fast forward through the fairy bits

Loved True Blood. I hadn’t heard that about the actor who played Lafayette. That’s sad.

I was always an Eric fan, DH used to call him my celebrity boyfriend. I actually bumped in Alexander Skarsgaard at an airport once. It was quite hard to play it cool 😆

I was also an Alcide fan!

Ooh yes Alcide is definitely hot. I think I would much rather a werewolf than a vampire
