That’s interesting. I’m thinking that something has gone on that we haven’t seen. It occurred to me yesterday that Nella and Nigel were alone in the camp during the trial, when the other 3 went off to do man bonding in the creek. Presumably that was engineered, but whatever happened didn’t quite go the way the producers planned….

Oh look, more manipulation

Gone are the days they used to have blazing rows in camp because there was no food.

Going to say it, it feels very heavily manipulated towards her. I don't recall say Matt getting this level of protection when he was getting all the (solo) trials or indeed Gillian when she was "collapsing"

Ant and Dec, I feel, are very nasty and bullying.
What makes you feel that?

I hadn't noticed them being bullying.

I missed the start last night and am now catching up. Did Fred throw the stock cubes in the fire because he was cross that the dishes were dirty? Bit passive aggressive isn't it!

Going by comments on FB, I think Sam is going to end up winning, getting a lot of support

I like Sam the best so far.

I think the problem this year is they aren't letting the celebs suffer.

That's what we want to see.

We want to see them go hungry and then the drama that goes with it. Not watch the engineered conversations and for the producers to intervene if celebs argue.

Not sure if it because of all the previous issues with Jeremy Kyle and Love Island. But the celebs seem to have it a lot easier.

Another issue is that 2 celebs have already left. And they can't afford for more to leave so they are probably being very careful in the way they treat them now.

The treat from the ice cream van was huge.

They had about 6-8 of those chocolates. Normally they would have had about 3 they would have to share between them. They only got about a crisp and a half last time. But this time they got over half a large chocolate.

Agree that the problem is they aren't letting them suffer and seem way too keen to intervene, e.g the article from the sun if reliable about telling Nella and Nigel to stop arguing. Also the fact spiders (by far the worst option and probably most common phobia) are suddenly no longer an option when it's group 2s turn - they were the only critter someone bailed from. If ALL the critters were different to mix it up, it wouldn't be so dodgy

The question is how long can these shows continue when there's more set up and rigged than not? If I wanted to watch scripted I'd watch a drama

The trials are dull compared to earlier seasons and I could count on 1 hand and not need to use many fingers the number of solo trials we've had

You'd think Itv would want some arguments. Not dull happy camp.
Apparently they pleaded with JL each day to stay another night, then another night..
Basically ITV prefer it all completely staged / scripted and manipulated.

Tony has the patience of a saint with Sam jumping on him like that. I'm finding the Tony worship by Sam very fake just like the Danny Miller/David Ginola thing was way OTT. Who goes on like that in real life? It's embarrassing to watch.

The rats were lovely.

The spiders and cockroaches were bloody awful

Only just caught up. Agree, Sam needs to stop jumping on Tony. He does it to other men too, you’re not a child.

I can't handle rats- that would have been my worst nightmare.

I'm OK with spiders. But those cockroaches were also horrendous.

Snakes and toads are no issue.

Apparently he asked Zara to get his Best friend Pete round and do a dance to the Im a celeb theme.
Its stupid, but it gets the views and likes.
All on Zara's Instagram. Pete pretends its cringe, but secretly he loves it.
Nice trip for him.
Be prepared for a massive hug when Pete greets him, if he doesn't win that is!!
