There is a user on here accusing people of being racists and when we wrote a rebuttal even something as benign as saying ‘you were up to these tricks yesterday ‘ You delete the message

you keep the messages up suggesting users are being racist but delete rebuttals.

I will add that multiple people are in agreement that this user is constantly accusing people on this thread of being racist about Nella - look at the people thanking me for my posts. Yet @mumsnet keeps deleting them

I thought Nella was OTT at the start but she has grown on me since. I'm glad she hasn't left.

The trial shown tonight induced panic in me! I could imagine feeling suffocated in that tank of water. Mind you, I find all the trials traumatic :-).

I wish some of them would show more personality.

The only reason she's not being ott now is because she's been told after she had a go at Fred and because she keeps getting voted for she's not stupid, she's in this to further her career.

I have to say I have saw absolutely nothing racist on these pages, Nella unfortunately started the show by having a go at someone for absolutely nothing, Fred did not deserve what she done, people have not forgotten that. It's not racist, absolutely nothing to do with racism and why anyone is bringing race into it is beyond me.

I think Nella was quite restrained and handled that situation with Nigel pretty well. As far as was shown last night, Nigel went to her when she was relaxing and asked her to defend the whole concept of cultural appropriation when no one had said it was an issue and when he clearly knows what it is about (even if he doesn't agree) . All the faux I don't understand . He wanted to get a rise from it and was using her, a much younger woman to do that. She said it was fine , the song. He kept on. She said can we not talk about it and he kept on. She explained they have a different world view, can they just be polite around each other but he kept on. He went back to absolute basics about Mexican dressing up outfits, how many times has this kind of thing been discussed but no, instead of just accepting other people have a different view he an older experienced politician took the arguement to her. I think she was extremely polite in the circumstances . As for him mentioning prince Harry and the Nazi uniform, what could that be other than trying to get a reaction.

The nazi reference was so strange, is nazism a culture? I think it's offensive to wear it but the discussion wasn't about the right to offend, it was about cultural appropriation. So odd.

He’s not that bright. He just sees it as “dressing up for a laugh and it might offend some people”.

I think the reason he raised it with Nella again was to get his 25%.

He went to private school, traded in the city of London before becoming a politician. He is very skilled at bating others while pretending he doesn't understand and being a man of the people. He is far from unintelligent.

well cultural appropriation is a new thing isnt it.

He is about my age and works in an arena where these concepts are discussed, particularly an interest for him I'd have thought given his politics and problems with 'wokery'. I'd like to think he's a bit dim and ill informed but he is much more aware than he appears.

Ie it's not as simple as ducking under water for a bit -you also need to also try and spin around to be facing down, without any space behind you to have legs out.

I am a good swimmer but not sure how I'd flip over easily in that space or easily know that that was the technique to use.
