That was hard, I don't like nigel at all but felt for him there, he was really frustrated with himself

Nick's doing fantastically nice to see him getting featured

I wonder if Nigel is phobic of being underwater

Bit tamer than usual usually the tank fills and they have to dive right down?

Surely it's got to be a genuine, severe fear of the water.
He's tolerated the snakes and spiders which would totally freak me out.

He’s known to be a heavy smoker. His lungs aren’t up to it

smoking won't help his lung capacity, but I think he has a real fear of water. In which case, fair play to him for giving it a go

You could tell he wanted to say get me out of there earlier but was trying to do it but just couldn't

Hes a sneaky snake though, so wouldnt surprise me if not genuine

But weird Nigel was ruled out of other trials on medical grounds but not that one.

I wonder if it's because the others involved a drop/risk of drop which would have jarred his neck

He's ruled out of some trials because he had neck and other injuries from the plane crash he was in.
