Has anyone watched this on Netflix?
I’ve just finished it and feel emotionally exhausted 😂

I found it slow in the middle and the interminable monologues became, well, interminable. But I enjoyed the beginning and end very much.

@SawX Yes, I have to agree with you there.

I founding the ending just so tragic but the choice of hymns (throughout the series actually) was stunning and made me a blubbering mess.

It’a going to take me a few days to recover from that one 🙃

I loved it. I thought the actor who played the priest gave an incredible performance. He really elevated it from just being a schlocky horror.

Yes I've just watched it for the second time - I agree the monologues ar the end went on a bit but still a great show

I loved midnight mass, it got a little monologue-y but still i hung on every word!
Have you seen the producers other series?

FreshWinterMorning · 27/11/2023 21:02

It's so good isn't it? I watched it 2 years ago (when it first came out,) and really enjoyed it. I think I may watch it again soon.

I like most of his series, but the catholic mass against the soundtrack reminded me so much of my childhood.

Kate3150 · 27/11/2023 21:22

Is he the same guy that did the haunting something hill on Netflix? I did watch that but I hid behind a cushion most of the time 😂

Yes. Now I'm watching The Fall of the House of Usher by the same guy. I spent most of the first episode saying "oh it's her out of Midnight Mass / him out of Hill House!"
