I read that the last episode before the Christmas break is on Dec 14th, can’t see where we’re heading with a cliffhanger this year.

Poor Jimmi, some one else trying to cause trouble for him. He already been in the Clink because of a set up.

But... will they still go for their Vietnamese anniversary dinner?

I wish we could see more of Barry. Great character.

I like Barry- I always wonder what the actor does when not appearing for his 'once in a blue moon' Doctors episode.

I've been wondering the same! I've never seen him in anything else, only Doctors.

Apparently, he did an episode of Peaky Blinders.

I never watched that .

One thing that confused me about today (one thing )- at the end, the ex gf with the Magic Nose, was seen in a her dressing gown (must have got a job lot of dressing gowns from M and S this week)- with a bouquet on the table. It seemed a bit random- it wasn't her anniversary. (I know anyone can get flowers, but given the earlier storyline, it seemed a strange thing to have in the shot for no reason). Unless she sent them to herself, Because she was a bit odd.

The flowers were odd.

I wondered if it is a future story line and how Zara leaves the show. There seemed to be a lot of big cervical and ovarian cancer posters in the background, unless they are always there (I've not been watching for a little while and have just started again, mainly to see how they wind it all down).

No, I don't think it was that deep. The ex husband's appointment was with Suni, she wanted to see Suni. The only Doctor available was Zara , so she came up with an excuse that her smell made her ill ( her over powering perfume) to not see her.

Were the flowers a thank you from the wife/ex best friend, to thank her for intervening?

martinis I don't know, I felt like the flowers had to mean something, but they didn't say what. Maybe they were a thank you, because she was right? Bloody Doctors- always so vague

Just catching up. Why is Barry involved in discussions regarding a patient? He only needed to report the concern!
