So, towards the end there, Nella said something like that there was "no situation with Fred. He stays over there and I stay here." And then she gave a cheesy grin to the camera as if to say, "no drama here. I'm in the clear."

Total set up! Someone's warned her, and the edits have deliberately showcased her to put her centre stage as if nothing had happened so people forget her previous bad behaviour.

She was very rude to nigel not respectful at all. She is clearly a total idiot, her argument was I'm an immigrant so we should have no control or idea who is in the country. Then she screamed when he pointed out facts of population growth with no concept at all of how population demographics and taxes work.

Nigel is delusional though, he'd not even be accepted as a tory member never mind leader. He has had a huge impact though, without him and ukip the referendum would never have been called.

I don't think I have ever seen anyone so clueless and ridiculous on this show before, as NELLA. I was cringing watching her. She is blabbing and blathering about political things she knows nothing about, and chatting absolute utter shite! I am so embarrassed for her.

She has not done her generation (and people who wanted to remain in the EU) any favours, if SHE is an example of a remainer and a young left-winger, then I would imagine all the young left-leaning remainers are face-palming real hard right now.

I hope she leaves really soon. I can't stand her.

Nigel Farage said previously he wanted the UK to make its own rules on immigration, not have uncontrolled immigration from within the EU.
He also went onto to say the UK should welcome people form the Commonwealth, who are are real friends. ( I suppose from history )

So whatever people think of Farage , the racism argument doesn’t sit with me.

Yes exactly. It's a soundbite, he has always been clear about his views, is married to a German and supports the commonwealth.
Many leave voters were not comfortable with prioritising white eu immigration over other more highly skilled workers in the first place. Although I do get the remain point of better to stay in the protection racket, the tariff and trade barriers to keep the eu on top are quite uncomfortable.

to be fair this is a common thing, especially with younger generations and evidenced on mumsnet frequently by posters who scream that NF is a psychopathic, evil racist scumbag, without ever explaining what he's actually said which might actually illustrate their insult. It's usually based on a headline they've read or a tik tok video they've watched...

Nella is I’m afraid part of what is wrong with society. She’s a social media influencer- I don’t even really know how anyone does that for a living.
What and who does she influence? She’s got no great talent, I’ve never heard of her.

Farage isn’t actually the extremist people think. I don’t agree with much of his politics. But you see it in social media, including here, all the time…people quick to say the headlines are skewed against people they already like but willing to believe every word of headlines slamming people they instinctively don’t.

He seems pretty calm, where Nella is just outrageously obnoxious, and as a PP says basing her bellowed ‘opinions’ on some hyped up headlines. But again, the leave campaign underneath it all had some good points to be made and an argument to debate. But it got lost in our world of 24/7 media and sound bites.
