I've been reading about his plane crash. The pilot killed himself over it in the end.
Apparently he won't be able to do certain trials due to previous plane crash and road trash years ago.

He is married to a European and his kids are half German, I think the extreme hatred narrative is a bit off. He's already being treated badly by banks and the media for not being to the left. Maybe those watching will see why he holds some views and become more rounded people capable of debate instead of instant cancellation and pure right think.

I don't have an opinion of NF one way or the other (yet) but @Boomboom22 is correct about the above. No one is allowed an opposing opinion or debate these days. It's instant 'you're dead to me now'. Friendships are being lost. So sad we can't agree to disagree.

Just to confirm he was not treated badly by coutts, in-fact not treated any differently to every onboarded customer in terms of closing accounts.

Funny how the Trish haters on here were quick to hate on her when her old tweets were revealed but now there are people on here defending NF!! He's about as prejudiced as they come. I don't for one second accept the "you can't say anything these days" rhetoric being spouted 🙄 I'm going to take a leap and guess that Trish haters are also NF defenders. Can't believe we're in an age where someone like Trish - who I completely agree said atrocious things but at least she admits they were atrocious - is being cancelled and yet NF is being given one of the biggest platforms on TV that there is

I'm not a "Trish hater" - I liked her, although I thought the adoration of her was OTT. She's a person with good points and flaws, like everybody.

But I agree with the points made above. Everything gets dialled up to 11 these days. This demonising and monstering of anyone even slightly to the right of Stalin is insane. Most people are not far left, and far left does not equal Good Person.

The only thing that annoys me about NF being on IACGMOOH is that it'll sour the threads with bickering like Hancock did last year.

I’m currently rewatching the series (it’s delightful watched straight through like this) and Trish was frankly an outstanding housemate.

I haven’t seen any of the tweets she sent, only heard a summary. They don’t sound nice, at all, but Lord knows, we’ve probably all made comments more than a decade ago that we’d rather not see resurfaced today. And her interactions in the BB house showed her to be neither racist nor homophobic.

The fact that she has been effectively cancelled by ITV after providing them with such excellent TV makes me feel slightly sick.

NF, on the other hand, is still exactly what he has always been as a public figure. I will not be turning on any show he is part of.

Sadly the tweets were from the last couple of years, not a decade ago or when she was young and stupid.

I agree that they jar completely with how she was on BB though & I find it hard to comprehend they're the same person.

Most of them were 10 years ago, but there are several questionable ones more recently. Not that it matters to me anyway, sorry. This was years worth of absolutely vile content that was definitely made by her, as an adult. Not some stupid mistake. I don't want a mob after her but I don't think she should be on TV any longer either. I think ITV made the right decision in THAT case. (Not in the case of giving Nigel that much money though, he's obviously worse!)
