Ah yes. Nina Gupta was both Ravi’s girlfriend and Ranveer’s wife and she fled Walford after the murder and unknown if she inherited any of Ranveer’s assets.

Ooh on Eastenders wiki it says she was credited as a regular actress and a fire at The Panesar House Surgery was filmed, but canned. Ooh apparently Nina was set to die in the fire but didn’t cos it didn’t happen.

Super Sonia gets on my tits, always a font of medical knowledge, in the hospital if need be and yet hardly seems to work the amount of time she’s in the square.

Dunno how Sonia will fare with child care if she has a child with Reiss , but they don't often worry too much about the logistics of babies and care.
Given that Phil seems to have super swimmers , maybe she could save a few pounds and just have a quickie with him instead. Although she seems committed now to this IVF, so missed the boat a bit now

There was a GP from the Surgery who came to see Lola when she was on End of Life Care , I think as an Emergency (seizure or simething ) rather than Palliative Care Team.

Short blonde hair , never saw her before or since .

The surgery seems to run itself!
Sonia is around occasionally and they don't seem to have any receptionists or , indeed , any GPs. Dh, who watches every episode, was puzzled as to where Suki was !
For such a busy part of London , clearly they don't have to worry about patients or anything like that there

Yes, most doctors surgeries are very busy, at least 2 receptionists and 3-4 doctors plus 2 nurses. And lots of patients.

EE surgery either they’re ghosts that go/work there or the invisible man.

When it first opened ( to a big old fanfare) they had actual patients ( extras) sitting waiting to see Sonia and Suki's daughter and uncles wife (or whoever she was ) , coughing away and looking bored.
Uncles wife took off and the daughter , Ash, and now it runs itself

I was shocked to see Sonia at work today, I had almost forgotten she works at the surgery! I watched the BBC3 episode the other night with the six women and was surprised how quiet the Suki actress is in real life - she certainly has created a good character in Suki.

Sonia's nurses uniform was very short !
The Suki actress did seem very quiet
Maybe hiding something ? .. Joe didn't get much out of them though

I've been in hospital a lot and the nurses here all wear their dresses at knee length so I don't know why Sonia's is so short!

I suppose for EE the bits us vipers pick up on here don’t make for good telly!

Who wants to hear about ailments or see one of them going to the doctor for a sore throat?!

True, the realities of running a GP surgery would be boring. They rarely mention it though

Derek Branning was horrible ! Such a sleazy character, but well played by the actor
He had a heart attack on Christmas Day or Eve or something.

That makes more sense actually. What with Linda mopping up blood from the floor upstairs and then Sharon saying he's dead downstairs.

The trailer seems to point to two deaths , or possibly a death and a bad injury or something?
Maybe Jack is just injured ( hence penny and Lauren coming over new years ) and dead man is hidden somewhere?
Linda has a fat lip , which may be connected her hitting someone or being punched herself :(
I don't like Jack much , but he isn't really that bad to warrant death

I did read that Grant is coming back next year !

That was a really good episode today with Nish and Ravi getting arrested, and Eve returning! I knew she wouldn’t have been killed off, there’s still loads they can do with her character.

I haven’t caught up today! Am in work physically too so can’t watch on the sly. Looks like it’s hotting up for Christmas!
