Why evict someone when nobody is watching? That's just plain stupidity.

Feels like a bit of a cheat really.
And you've got to wonder what the housemates feel about it. The ones who went out that way

I don't agree with the way they are showing big things like evictions now via the live screening before people see it on the actual show.

I don't think they are getting the balance quite right at the moment. Big things like that should be shown when most people are watching.

It wasn't shown on the live feed - we saw the aftermath and had to have a body count. 😂

ok but you take my point - you could work out who had been evicted. That shouldn't happen in my opinion, any big developments like that should be shown on the tv show before it can be worked out from the live feed.

Can’t watch AJ either she is dreadful bellows like a foghorn…hopefully they’ll get rid of her as she is woeful.

Oh yes, I agree it was a total balls-up. I did think it might have been planned to be shown live on Late & Live but didn't go to plan - hence the ridiculous amount of filler on L&L. Seemed like they were making it up as they were going along.

Poor Matty. I don't exactly mind back-door evictions but to do it when someone's expecting to be read their letter from home seems unnecessarily cruel.

Just watching L&L now. I love AJ, I think she's great on this.

So are we assuming (or has it been confirmed?) that something went wrong? It does seem very strange to show the aftermath of an eviction, on L&L, before broadcasting the actual eviction.

And we all voted so long ago now. Any sense of impetus and excitement has been lost.

Also agree about AJ. I hate to be mean but she really does grate on me. I also think it's stupid to have 2 presenters together- just no need!

Last night's actual show was just made up of the previous night's stuff already shown . L&L was so shambolic I had to turn it off (ffs that drag queen gob shite)....now Matty out through the backdoor? It's all gone a bit tits up in the last week ! Have they sacked the whole production crew over Trishgate? Or is there nobody looking after the controls cos everyone at ITV2 is ploughing over the HM social media from the last 15yrs to avoid another scandal? 🙄

I didn't know about Trish, did wonder why she hadn't been on L&L etc. Imagine coming out to all of those people willing you to do well and no doubt some decent opportunities to have it come crashing down. Deserved though, lots of people say ah everyone tweeted stuff like that back then, it's like no we didn't.

Anyway, I agree it's savage at this stage (or any really) to have evictions without a crowd, surely that's part of the experience? Admittedly hypocritically think it's good Jenkin and Tom didn't get to have a crowd because not a fan haha. I also agree that it seems they hadn't really planned for this final week and are just trying to wing it? I think there should have been more double evictions if the series was to be short like this with a fair amount of housemates- or 2 evictions every week and have a small crowd at least on Weds.

I wondered if Matty was really upset and not able to appear/perform on L&L.

I agree last night was a shambles. L&L was beyond tedious and there was no reason not to give Matty a proper exit and interview. He will be interviewed tonight so why not wait until tonight’s show to evict him. None of it makes sense, not to mention the very cruel way they did it. All the housemates were horrified

Maybe watching BB back might convince Matty to return to one of these looks.
