It's all ludicrous but the nature of soaps means that the 'writers' never have to resolve a storyline or worry about actual facts. I guess it's what makes them so addictive. Just to add, Michelle Collins is a truly rubbish actor in mvho.

I do like the escapism of EE and I am a big fan , it's the ludicrous storylines that keep me watching it tbh! Plus a lot of the acting isn't that bad really.

I don't mind Cindy this time around , she doesn't wind me up as much as Ian does
She seems more suited to George than Elaine is even though I do like Elaine as a character as she's a bit different
Cindy is bound to have an affair with George eventually, most of Ian's relationships go south and George and her have loads of history too, but I doubt it'll happen for a while. ( only a guessing)

Ok caught up with all the episodes.

Surely even someone as dim witted as Ken would Google a condition he has never heard of before that his son has been diagnosed with? And therefore find out both parents must carry the gene. The doctor didn’t even give him a leaflet so it is completely ridiculous that he wouldn’t be the least bit curious and look online or ask more questions.

I still don’t understand why the standard blood tests after Albie’s kidnapping suddenly revealed the condition but it didn’t show up in the tests would have had as a newborn.

None if it makes any sense to me tbh!

Ken isn't particularly interested in the diagnoses , but he has a mobile and most people would look it up surely? It's the first thing people usually do.
Maybe Karen will ? She has a bit of common sense at least !

Ken is as dim as a ten watt light bulb, so maybe he he wouldn't look into it too deeply and be more focused on how the condition would affect Albie rather than how he got it. Or in usual EE style nothing will ever be said about the condition ever again, Albert Square has seen more miraculous recoveries and resurrections than Lourdes.
Phil will be unbearable when he finds out that he has a son, a " proper Mitchell" to mould in his own image.

I feel that Sharon should have told him the other day as even she said to Zac ' it's bound to come out 'and maybe he'll say something to Louise about Peggy being tested ( I know people rarely stay in touch when they move out the square , but plot might involve him texting her or something!)
Phil may have agreed that Albie is better off with Ken as his dad , you never know ( unlikely , but he isn't getting any younger !)

Sharon is behaving very irresponsibly as usual. She should tell Phil so at least he knows he is a carrier. He has 3 other children who also might carry the gene plus his siblings.

It is also quite insensitive to sit in front of a recovering alcoholic and down a bottle of wine when preparing to tell him he’s the father of your child!
