Jane Lynch is obviously female and doesn't need to 'pass' as a woman. Tall women don't look like men, they look like tall women.

It's going to be hard for Hallie to come to terms with the fact that most people will immediately recognise her as a transwoman. That's not a bad thing or a criticism, I just mean that I think she will struggle as she comes to terms with this and that she has a difficult road ahead of her whereas transwomen who have both youth and a short, slim build on their side won't struggle as much and are much less likely to stand out.

Agree about Olivia and Chanelle- I quite like both. Olivia just doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks of her, which at her age is refreshing. Chanelle is a sweetheart.

Again, I agree with @Ladybrrrd . I can't understand people who judge other peoples bodies so critically. I'm sure Hallie is very aware of her body shape and she has hang ups- we have heard her talk about it and her upset.

Also, anyone reading this thread who have the 'unfortunate' body shape of tall and broad will feel great reading your concerned comments

Not comparable at all. Hallie wants to pass as a woman. Hallie's body shape will make that impossible for her. So yes, it is unfortunate for her. That's just a fact, not a judgement.

I have to say no one complained about any of the anti obese comments earlier in the thread directed at Kerry. It seems to be ok to bash fat people but not trans.

There was an argument about Kerry's weight and people were told to STFU. Their comments were called 'nasty' and 'ableist' (I agree). Not sure where you're getting that its okay to do either. It's not. Don't make patronising horrid comments about people's bodies. Full stop done.

I think Love Island got a lot of stick for supporting fast fashion brands previously, with dodgy backgrounds regarding sweatshops etc, as well.as the environmental impact of throwaway fashion. I guess pairing with vinted etc as sponsers is to try and shed that negagive image

Someone on L&L last night suggested that Jordan is doing the old push-pull with people's affections. Flattering/negging. Certainly I think that's true with Matty. It's the long-term game he's playing.
