Anyone watching this? I must be getting old because I keep thinking I wouldn’t like my daughter involved in that. It’s a bit uncomfortable viewing

Yes I watched it. I just kept thinking I wish I had a body that would look good in those costumes and that I was that flexible. The dancers seemed to love it. I did think it was a bit weird when the dad and boyfriend were watching. They are on a stage though, not lapdancing. What made you uncomfortable?

I guess it’s just all those very specific demands on what their bodies should look like. I’d just be worried sick about all that pressure if it was one of mine.

I loved this series. I guess the dancing world will always have the body issues to worry about, but the featured dancers did all seem very fit and healthy though. I wonder if Tooney achieved her post Moulin dreams? She was absolutely lovely 🙂

@Greenshake ah tooney. We need a spin off with her in her new estate agent career. The problem she’ll have finding a partner is she’ll attract a lot of dick heads

I really like this programme. Great to see the dedication of the dancers. The show has been running in Paris for over 100yrs and when it opened was risqué as the danced showed their ankles!

Really enjoyed it too. I didn't realise how many of the troupe were brits/aussies/Canadians. I don't think it's surprising in how harsh/unglamorous/demanding it is considering it is dance at a high level. I'm not saying I would want to do it though!

@toomanyleggings yes, a Tooney spin off would be great! She deserves a lovely partner, but you are right, it would be dickheads galore for a while.
