Yinrun coming across as fake to me. I think she is very clever (potentially came here as a student? If so then has good grades clearly) and when she entered the house and said she was with her boyfriend it showed an older man clapping (admittedly it could be the young lad next to him) https://x.com/balf4our/status/1713667647433322603 I get sugar daddy vibes.
Her upset seemed to have been triggered by her exchange with Noky and Jenkin as she was entering the bedroom. She literally crossed Noky’s path in the doorway, Yinrun was entering, Noky was about to leave. They talk briefly about Yinrun helping Dylan with the cooking and then Noky leaves and Jenkin follows. I don’t think there was any malice at all, they’re just off to do whatever and thinking you’re going in to do whatever. I should also note Chanelle was sat at the dressing table doing makeup it’s not like she was completely abandoned. Yinrun had every ability to ask Noky and Jenkins what they were doing/where they were going and ask to join or say I’ll come with you.
Think it’s just manufactured drama to give the timid/I don’t truly understand English (she does)/woe betide me vibes.
That Katreya from years ago who had the happy happy happy vibes and broken English came across very fake after weeks of doing it. I hope Yinrun doesn’t continue down this path of acting like her language barrier is an issue when it really doesn’t seem to be and she has plenty of friends!
