"Diversity" on Big Brother

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I've seen hundreds of people complaining about this season of big brother being "too diverse" or "too woke" and I just do not get it all. I can't stand a lot of wokeness and oversensitivity these days but to me this just seems like a normal group of people, and it reminds me a lot of my office where we have black people, asian people, gay people and we have a disabled lady. Also I believe that big brother has always been diverse with there being black, gay, trans etc people winning the show even back in the 2000s.

I do not care about diversity however this is how big brother has always been... All different people from different walks of life that is what makes it interesting.

You're completely right, though people are mostly just saying it because there is semmingly a trans girl on there, so very predictable in this place. Unfortunately I can't join in with the main chat because of the constant misgendering and disrespect towards her. But like I said, predictable!

Yes they're diverse but I feel they've not been diverse for the sake of it. They've chosen people with character and personality IMHO.

She's not denying anyone anything. Her being herself doesn't invalidate my experiences or cancel them out. Calling her 'she' doesn't take anything from me or make me any less of a woman. She isn't responsible for any of the experiences I've had on account of my sex. (though certainly had some traumatic incidents at the hands of straight not-trans women!)

As I've said though, I'm not surprised at the reaction on here. Come to expect it. You just carry on as you are and I won't bother you over there as I really don't have the energy. I'm just glad that the opinions, disrespect and attitudes on here are a minority in real life. Worrying trend upward of hate crime etc, but still a minority.

Oh come off it - what a load of rubbish. Because of blokes like him, sexually aroused at dressing up as women, I now get to call myself 'cis', 'birthing body' and 'menstrator'. There are women locked in prison with rapists and pedophiles. There are women raped in hospital due to men like this being on their wards. I can't say what I want to say in public or at work and you reckon this doesn't affect women. Until blokes like that have some respect and stop appropriating and colonising womanhood you'd better get used to arguing about it.
