I have Disney Plus for 3 months, what do I need to watch that I won't see elsewhere? I think there is/was the Full Monty thing - is it any good? - but I was wondering if you have any recommendations please? Thank you.

All the star wars shows

The patient, think it's called, about a therapist and a serial killer

And of course, The Bear

tourdefrance · 30/09/2023 20:37

I spent my 3 months binge watching Greys Anatomy and a couple of chick flicks. One about Amelia Erhart I think.
My kids enjoyed the Mandalorian and other Star Wars spin offs.

The Dropout is meant to be very good.

I really don't get the love for Dopesick though. I hated it.

Disney has lots of cozy 90s shows and films too - Buffy, Angel, Burn Notice…

101 Dalmatians - watched the original animated film last week for the first time for years (over ten years?) and absolutely loved it.

The new 101 Dalmatians prequel - think it's called Cruella? Is also on there and enjoyable viewing too

@Dulra I watch OMITB with my 14yo and we love it! V bad language and obviously adult themes but very funny.

I’d like to add a rec for Reservation Dogs

EeesandWhizz · 01/10/2023 00:02

Oh blimey, you're all amazing, I'm going to need longer than 3 months aren't I? I've added a few to my watch list and I've just been tempted to watch Desperate Housewives again to see which bits I missed - I wonder if it has aged well?

You're welcome. It's one of my favourite Disney films from childhood. I have watched it several times since I subscribed to DP. Great to see Jodie Foster in one of her early roles.

Persipan · 01/10/2023 11:11

Andor. It's basically a prestige series about fighting fascism that happens to be set in the Star Wars universe. The first couple of episodes are a little bit slow to get going but then it all comes together and it's so good.
