I never know most of the music anyway so the release of the dance/music list never means much to me! I only recognise 6 songs based on the names. I may well recognise a few more when I hear them on the night.

Yes I read when she presented a love island type show on bbc three she brought a friend with her to learn all the lines each evening.

That's a mean comment - she clearly takes it seriously and works to do her job well. She used to be a civil servant, working as a policy advisor. Why can't we be more supportive of other women instead of making dismissive comments based on what we think we know about them?

Actually DP has advised she was an HEO in policy which is a low ranking civil service job, but even so.

Right just looked she worked at that position for 8 months then did love island.
She was 21 in 2018.

I think that a lot of my teacher friends and relatives would say that having 21 year olds, with no background in education, advising the government on education policy says it all.

As an HEO she won't have been advising though. Anyway, my point was that we shouldn't be knocking women who are looking to advance themselves down.

Complete segue. I was watching Johannes-John videos ( as you do) and I found myself wishing that Johannes could have a ringer who matches him. Like Nikita has now. I want to see him dancing to his full ability rather than holding back.

I went to see Aljaz and Janetta a couple of years ago at Sadler's Wells , and it was so good to see them match each other. You don't realise how much the pros are holding back while dancing with the slebs. It must be quite hard for them to dance down. The good pros- like Oti and Aljaz-managed it, of course.

Wanted to add: why does Johannes not have a pro partner to do his tours with?

Did Gio and Amanda have weird chemistry on ITT last night or is it just me? He seems very serious and grown up with her. It's quite sexy actually but I miss all the giggly fun he had with Rose.

Nigel’s dancing a Viennese Waltz to my favourite song this week. Lovely!

I can see Nigel doing a great Viennese waltz. I'm worried for Angela S having to do a jive in week two. There are certain dances that I think shouldn't be done until at least four weeks into the series and the jive is one of them.
