Has anyone been to the recording of the show?

I’ve got tickets for this series and wondered how early you needed to get there to guarantee entry? They issue more tickets than places as there will always be no-shows on the day.

no idea - but giving this a bump as it's so exciting for you. I adore Extra Slice, but don't think I could bear Tom Allen ripping into me!

I saw Jo Brand do stand/up many years ago and she did it for charity. She was amazing.

Just back from the show. It was absolutely brilliant and I thoroughly recommend it.

So was that filming the episode which goes out on Thursday? Does that mean then that you already know which baker will leave tomorrow night?

Yes the show recorded on Sunday is the one shown on Thursday. We watched the Tuesday episode to see who had left.
We were sworn to secrecy and were asked not to speak about it outside or on the way home just in case someone was listening and revealed it.

We went into the studio at 1530 and it finished at 2100. The cameras were rolling on and off for about 3 hours in total with stoppages to reorganise the studio and the odd retake.
The day went in a flash.
