Can anyone recommend anything like this? I've tried to get back into Judge John Deed and Kavanagh but I'm finding them both awfully sexist and dated.

Any recommendations?

The Good Wife is brill. It's not all in the court but legal based.

A lot of people have recommended Damages but I haven't tried yet.

I'm rewatching the Good wife again on All4, forgot how good it is. I'm surprised it was made by Ridley Scott and Tony Scott.

Boston legal, it has a lot of sexism in, but it's frequently called out. It's preposterous but very fun.

I agree with @jay55 Boston Legal is an absolute hoot. & yes sexism / agsim etc called out. Just seeing Alan Shore speak in court can be the funniest thing. I would definitely give it a go.

I’m watching Suits right now and agree with whoever said it was ok early on. A bit daft to be honest.

I was also going to mention For the People @Katrinawaves I enjoyed it but it wasn’t renewed for the third season so I felt like I was left hanging. I thought it was a bit of a pity they didn’t let it be finished off nicely.
